The Beginning of my CHALLENGE!

So here we are. The first post on this Blog. I'm hoping that this journal/ diary will help to concrete my efforts into losing weight, KEEPING it off, and to make myself into a better person in the process.
So, here we go.

Step #1: Stop Making Excuses!
It is now time to stop with the childish acts of making the classic excuses on why its OKAY to eat greasy foods, or why its OKAY to not workout today. I'm going to change that attitude starting now.
It is NOT OKAY to make excuses, it only creates weakness. So starting today, I am going to try to not make excuses. With every excuse I make, I am going to document it on this blog as punishment.

Step #2: GO TO THE GYM
I am not a lazy person. I am actually a very active person. 0ver 15 years of competitive swimming and doing more than one sport at a time in school really gives you good discipline. The bad thing? When you eventually have to slow down and you can't compete or practice competitively anymore, it really takes a toll on your body. Its hard to find the right balance to keep the weight off.
So from now on instead of going to the gym 5 times a week, it will now be 6. Cardio every single one of those days as well as either strength training, abs, zumba, or dry lands workouts.

Also periodically on this blog I am going to show all of you an image of something or someone that inspires me to better myself.

Today on the first day of this blog it will be my boyfriend, Michael.

Well thats all for today, its time for me to hit the hay and rest up for tomorrow. Tomorrow morning is the gym again. Until next time!
